MAGAZINE MARKET
There are two relevant bi-weekly and two monthly magazines. Apart from them several other monthly magazines cover very small part of the market. Some of publishing companies also host automotive TV shows on different channels. Internet is gaining popularity.

Leading position of SAT Plus has been gained during period from 2001. to 2003. thanks to different concept in automotive journalism directed towards car owners and not just to car fans. After that strong leadership has been preserved.
ACTIVITY
SAT Plus was founded in 2001. following concept of SAT TV Show that has been launched on national television of Serbia in 1990. At the moment SAT Media Group, as a publisher of SAT Plus and producer of SAT TV Show permanently employs 60 people and additional 12 temporarily. SAT Media Group also publishes only Serbian commercial vehicles magazine named Veliki tockovi, largest bikers magazine named Dva tocka, official catalogue of Belgrade Motorshow, yearly book about road construction industry in Serbia and numerous other editions. SAT Media Group is a family company which now gathers leading automotive journalists of Serbia including three former editor in chiefs of competitor magazines.
Additional business of SAT Media Group is video production for foreign production companies in automotive field.
In 2007. SAT Media Group has founded first Serbian driver training center named NAVAK and started construction of its own test and training facility covering 33 ha with unique elements such as 1,2 km straight line 15 do 40 m wide. |
